Memories

Faint wisps,so gentle
stored away in
the deep recesses
of my mind.

Waiting to be
unleashed,refreshed
with warmth and
nostalgia.

It feels like a picture story
as one scene
follows
the other.

Of words and images
of a vast glorious landscape
captured in its finest
moments..

By my mind....

My mind,
so intricate,
subtle,
and versatile.

Yet so treacherous.

Ah, I like the use of the verse to twist and turn the storyline.

;-)

Excellent closing,

"By my mind....

My mind,
so intricate,
subtle,
and versatile.

Yet so treacherous."

A said it. The mind, the movie of your life, moving forward and backward, making memories.

The last line really spoke to me...since not all of my memories are so faint and gentle. I am glad you ended on such a powerful note.

You said it, its absolutely horrible when your mind plays tricks on you and what a labryinty, your own mind is a maze in which one can get lost and yet that's where you find yourself too. Memories can sure be treacherous, hence the phrase, move on.

very well written.

WOW! That hit with gale force! You've captured the essence of it all so well! Great stuff this :)

you paint a lovely image of the light, floating, enviting land of memories in the mind, the show the dark grins upon those wicked spirits.

Memories are beautiful, but it can be dangerous to become overly entangled.

At least, that's how I interpreted this.
